Marta Gapińska-Gromek (born 1978) is a graduate of the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw, where she graduated in 2011, majoring in Artistic Photography. In 2024, she graduated from the History of Modern Art at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Lives and works in Warsaw. He carries out his projects mainly with an analog camera, which, as he says, requires great discipline and forces the photographer to think about each frame. The world of feelings and emotions is important to her and she tries to draw the audience's attention to spiritual experiences. In 2012, she received a grant to co-finance a photographic exhibition from Joanna Skrzydlewska, Member of the European Parliament. The PLAY project was presented in March 2013 in Łódź, at Foto Cafe 102, and in May, at Foto Relax in Warsaw. In June 2013, the project TRACES was presented at the exhibition accompanying Fotofestiwal 2013, at the Opus Gallery in Łódź. The latest project MASKS was presented in June 2024 at a group exhibition of graduates of the History of Modern Art of the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
